Our Team

With nearly 20 years of professional experience, Dave can advise you in wealth management, insurance, security planning, and group benefits and savings programs.

He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).

Family-oriented, Dave is happily married to his wonderful wife, Jodie, who is a teacher. He’s a proud father to three children: Sydney, Grant, and Tessa. The Ewasiuks call St. Albert home and spend a lot of time at their second home on Moose Lake, in the Lakeland area. When he’s not at work, Dave is pursuing his interests in watersports, power sports, golf, fitness, and spending time with his family. The family attends St. Albert Alliance Church and Moose Lake Pentecostal Camp.  

Jamie has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is working towards his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

Jamie provides clients with insurance planning and financial planning advice. He is a highly valued member of the team.

Jamie is a big fan of history, technology, design, and pop-culture. He also enjoys listening to audiobooks, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two young children.

Norine is the Assistant to our team and has been for several years. She is responsible for all administrative matters for the team. 

Norine enjoys spending time with her grown children and their loveable black lab Koda. She also enjoys attending concerts, going to the movies, and taking memorable holidays.

Joan has extensive experience in the financial industry. She worked for RBC and ATB, moving up to an assistant manager position, for a combined 20 years before getting her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 1998. She worked independently for CMG Worldsource Financial and CIBC before coming to Optimize.

In her spare time, Joan enjoys ballroom and country dancing, line dancing, travel, snowmobiling, camping, reading, and gardening. She lives in St. Albert, has two adult children and six grandchildren.
