Chris Bell and his family have lived in the West Kootenay’s for 30 years. Chris has a strong background in business planning and management and worked for several years as a consultant with Columbia Basin Trust’s Basin Business Advocates Program.
Chris is a strong community supporter having completed many volunteer activities spanning 3 decades and served on numerous boards: Community Futures Central Kootenay, Castlegar Sculpture Walk, Castlegar Rotary, Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, Castlegar Golf Club, Kootenay Gallery of Art, Castlegar Foundation, Castlegar Red Cross, Castlegar Sunfest, Castlegar Lion’s Club and the Castlegar Business Exchange.
His spouse Nancy is a mortgage broker who works closely with the community, their daughter Nikki lives in Vancouver where she is completing her master’s degree in clinical counseling.
Chris and Nancy split their time between their homes in Nelson and at Red Mountain – they enjoy golfing, boating, skiing and share a love for travel!
