Laurier holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Alberta (1990) and an MBA in Finance from the University of Montana (1992), where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma honours. His professional credentials include the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation (2003) and the Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designation (2004).
Throughout his career, Laurier has held various roles, including Wealth Planner and Financial Planner at respected organizations such as IG Wealth Management, Freedom 55 Financial, and Global Maxfin Investments. Since 2022, he has served as a Wealth Planner with Optimize, where he focuses on creating personalized strategies that empower clients to achieve long-term financial stability and success.

Outside of work, Laurier enjoys an active lifestyle and is passionate about hockey, pickleball, skiing, and cycling.
