Wayne Lambert is an experienced Certified Financial Planner, having helped clients achieve their financial goals for over 20 years. As a long-standing member of the Canadian Institute of Financial Planners, FP Canada, and Advocis, Wayne proudly upholds the highest ethical standards as outlined in the FP Canada “Standards of Professional Responsibility” and the “Advocis Code of Professional Conduct.”
Wayne’s areas of expertise include comprehensive business financial planning, group benefits, and retirement planning. His ability to conceptualize and execute strategic financial plans for his clients has been a key driver of his success. He is dedicated to developing holistic, personalized financial plans that offer lasting confidence for his clients.
Wayne’s previous roles include serving as Senior Relationship Manager at Optimize, as well as a Wealth Planner at Independence Wealth Management Group. Prior to that, he spent several years as a Division Director with Investors Group, as the head of a team of financial advisors.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wayne is active in charitable initiatives in his community, including school advisory councils, senior housing development boards and nonprofit organizations.

Portfolio Manager
Nicholas Cup is a Portfolio Manager at Optimize. He specializes in overseeing investments of clients’ comprehensive financial strategies, making sure adjustments align to their unique goals. With more than 12 years of experience, he’s fluent in retirement cash flow planning, investment management, tax and estate strategies, and insurance planning. Nicholas is an MBA graduate and has acquired both the Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Investment Manager designations.
Nicholas believes financial peace of mind begins with a clear plan and diversified portfolio, not just market returns. He takes pride in helping clients make informed decisions and works closely with advisors to build personalized, long-term solutions.
Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys spending weekends at the cottage with his family and dog, as well as golfing, cycling, and running.

At Optimize, Omar focuses on understanding each client’s unique circumstances, values, and goals. He provides portfolio recommendations and steady guidance through market shifts, helping clients stay disciplined and confident in their long-term aspirations. His work reduces uncertainty and supports important milestones, which he finds incredibly rewarding.
